Boiled Feta With Honey
This dish is heavily inspired by the Greek dish Saganaki. Saganaki is a fried cheese drizzled with lemon juice. Instead of frying the cheese and drizzling it with lemon juice, I boiled the cheese in the oven and topped it with honey and herbs!
- 1/2 block Feta Cheese
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp Herbs De Provence
- Spanish Olive Oil Cooking Spray, for spraying
Preheat your oven to 500 degrees F or turn on your boiler.
Spray a ramekin with Spanish Olive Oil Cooking Spray. Crumble 1/2 of a block of feta cheese and add it to the ramekin. Drizzle with honey and add your herbs de provence.
Bake the cheese for 15 minutes!
Serve immediately when done.
- Do not add salt, feta cheese is already salty! It's unnecessary and will make this super salty.
